Take part in the talk with Jean-Martin Fortier – author of ‘The Market Gardener’ – and learn more about how you grow better, not bigger with low-tech, human-scale, biointensive farming methods.
No matter if you are starting your own urban garden or organic farm, this talk will present you with interesting and useful knowledge, that will make your production more effective and profitable.
Jean-Martin Fortier runs a ‘biologically intensive’ and organic micro farm east of Quebec, where he on just 1,5 acres and with no machinery supplies the local market, restaurants and more with organic vegetables and fruits.
Fortier’s biologically intensive method turns out a substantially higher yield per acre than traditional, conventional, organic and high-tech farming, since the row of crops are grown closer together. This method has inspired Farm of Ideas, which supplies vegetables and fruit for Relæ, Manfreds, Mirabelle and BÆST.
Take part in the talk on November 20th, 2018 and be inspired!
