Would you like an amazing duck for Christmas, then get our organic free range duck from Farm of Ideas for you and your guests. When you pick one of our ducks, you will get a great tasting bird which have had a long and active life on our fields at Lejre.
Juicy meat and crispy skin
Our duck is a ‘dansk landand’ (peking duck) and have been living for 14-18 weeks, grazing on our open fields at Farm of Ideas. The duck has a slightly larger layer of fat than the usual duck, which gives a nice and crispy skin when cooked.
The ducks have free access to our fields, where they graze for herbs, clover and grass while growing slow and naturally large. This results in the juiciest and delicate meat. The ducks are slaughtered close to the farm to reduce transport time and stress for the birds.
- The duck weighs around 3.5 kilos and is fit for 3-4 people.
- The duck is frozen and will be ready for pick up at Mirabelle Restaurant (Guldbergsgade 29) from Monday the 17th till Friday the 21st of December between 12:00-21:30.
- We recommend that the duck is thawed up slowly in the fridge.
